About our organization:
The Jackson Free Clinic Health Ambassadors program was founded to extend the mission statement of the Jackson Free Clinic to the Ole Miss Campus and Oxford community. The Jackson Free Clinic, located in Jackson, Mississippi, is run by medical students at the University of Mississippi Medical Center as well as volunteer physicians from their local community. It offers non-emergency care, including evaluation, testing, prescription drugs and education, to individuals who cannot pay. The Jackson free clinic’s mission statement is to:
-Provide quality health services to individuals who have inadequate access to medical care
-To provide the opportunity for medical students to learn from physicians, patients, and other medical students in a collaborative, professional setting
-To promote awareness of the ongoing needs of our patients

What we do:
As a Jackson Free Clinic Health Ambassador, you will participate in community and campus health events, participate in fundraising events that benefit the Jackson Free Clinic, and advocate for awareness of the ongoing needs of underserved members of our community.
