Why did you decide to pursue this health profession? I want to be a doctor so I can help others. I am interested in pediatrics, so I want to be able to help parents who are concerned about their kids.

Major: BA Biology and BS Public Health and Health Science

Why did you choose this major? I chose biology as my major because I’ve always been interested in science. I recently became interested in public health and found it to be very cool, so I added a second major.

How has HPAO helped you on your pre-health journey? The advisors have helped me both personally and professionally because they are always able to point me in the right direction. I was a very lost freshman, but now I have the confidence to pursue my passion for medicine.

What is your most memorable HPAO experience? Working at the HPAO tent on Mississippi Day was a lot of fun for me. I had the opportunity to tell many people about my experience with HPAO and all that it has to offer. During that event, I was also able to connect with a lot of other ambassadors.

What are your career goals? I want to be a pediatrician.

What are you the happiest doing? I enjoy spending time with my friends and binge-watching Netflix.

What is your favorite study spot? Baxter Room in JD Williams Library

What is your favorite meal in Oxford? A Veggie Delite from Subway on Jackson Ave
